Claude Justin KISHIQUEB, 58, of Thunder Bay, has been identified as the victim of a homicide that took place Wednesday, March 20, 2019.
Claude’s identity is being released following the conclusions of a post-mortem examination and consultation with his family.
The scene in the 200 block of North Cumberland Street is being released.
The investigation is ongoing.

One man has been charged with second-degree murder following a Wednesday evening incident on the city's north side that left one person dead and another injured.
Thunder Bay Police officers responded to a North Cumberland Street address shortly after 11 p.m. on Wednesday, March 20, following a report of a male on the ground.
The person who contacted 911 believed at the time that a baseball bat may have been used during an assault.
Police arrived on scene and located two male victims. The one victim became unresponsive and later pronounced deceased.
The second victim was transported to Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre where he remains in the Intensive Care Unit in stable condition.
Nathaniel Austin WESLEY, 22, of Thunder Bay is charged with:
• Second-Degree Murder
• Aggravated Assault
• Breach of Recognizance
• Breach of Probation
WESLEY appeared in court Thursday morning and was remanded into custody with a future date.
