The Thunder Bay Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance as it continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the October 2023 homicide of Abdullahi Mohamed ALI.
Police are looking for anyone who may have observed or interacted with any individuals in the area of Ogden Street and Prince Arthur Boulevard on Sunday, October 15, 2023 between 6 a.m. and 7 a.m.
If you live in this area, or may have been driving in this area at the above mentioned time, and have home surveillance or dash camera footage, please review and contact police if you believe you have anything that could be helpful.

BACKGROUND:
Thunder Bay Police Service officers with the Primary Response Branch were originally dispatched to a residential address in the 300 block of Ogden Street at about 1:50 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 15, following reports that a deceased male was located.
Firefighters with Thunder Bay Fire Rescue and paramedics with Superior North EMS were also dispatched, but later cancelled when the male was located and confirmed deceased.
Members of the Thunder Bay Police Service’s Major Crime and Forensic Identification Units became involved in the ongoing investigation. The investigation is being treated as a homicide.
