UPDATE: All roadways closed following this morning's MVC involving a pedestrian on May Street have been reopened.
Police, fire and paramedics were dispatched to the corner of May and Cumming Streets just before 5:30 a.m. on Friday, April 28 following reports of a motor vehicle making contact with a woman.
When first responders arrived they located the involved vehicle at the scene and located an injured woman.
The woman was transported to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre for further evaluation and treatment of her injuries.
The Thunder Bay Police Service’s Traffic Unit is now involved in the ongoing investigation.
