Police are currently investigation the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a deceased male on the city’s north Sunday afternoon. Members of the Thunder Bay Police Service’s Primary Response Branch, along with Thunder Bay Fire Rescue firefighters, were dispatched to the Marina Park Drive and North Water Street area just after 2 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 10 following reports of a body possibly being discovered. When first responders arrived at the scene, they located the body of a deceased male. A scene has been established and a police presence remains in the area. Members of the TBPS’s Major Crimes and Forensic Identification Units are now involved in the ongoing investigation. No further details are available at this time.
