Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a female located in a laneway on the city’s southside Wednesday. Members of the Thunder Bay Police Service’s Primary Response Branch were dispatched to the 200-block area of Norah Street North at about 8:40 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 2, after the body of deceased female was located. A scene has been established and members of the Major Crimes and Forensic Identification Units are now involved in the ongoing investigation. A large police presence will remain in the area as the investigation continues. No other details are available at this time. Further media updates will be provided as they become available.
