The Thunder Bay Police Service is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in the robbery of a southside convenience store.
Thunder Bay Police Service officers responded to a reported robbery of a convenience store in the 600 block of Arthur Street shortly after 10:30 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 14, 2019 following reports that two suspects had robbed a Circle K store.
Suspect demanded money from the store clerk and fled with cigarettes and an undisclosed amount of cash.
One of the suspects was located and arrested in the area shortly after the incident. The second suspect remains at large.
Investigators are releasing surveillance video that shows the second unidentified suspect.

Robbery Arrest

Officers learned that two suspects had entered the Circle K store and demanded money and cigarettes from the clerk. The suspects left the store with cigarettes and an undisclosed amount of cash.
Police, with assistance from the K-9 Unit, later arrested one of the suspects a short distance away.
Lennox Atlookan, 19, of Thunder Bay, has been charged with Robbery.
He has been remanded into custody with a future court date of Jan. 16, 2019.
