Police are continuing to investigate a weapons incident that occurred in an area of Limbrick Street.
Thunder Bay Police Service officers with the Primary Response Branch were dispatched shortly before 9 p.m. on Tuesday, December 26 after receiving reports of multiple gun shots being heard in the area.
Members of the Thunder Bay Police Service’s Emergency Task Unit also responded and assisted in the investigation.
The Thunder Bay Police Service’s Major Crimes Unit is now involved in the ongoing investigation.
A police presence remains in the area of the incident.
It is not believed there is a threat to public safety at this time.
