Police presence in Marina Park

Officers with the Thunder Bay Police Service have contained a scene at Marina Park in an effort to check on the welfare of an individual who may be in distress.

The public is asked to avoid the area as police conduct a search of the area. There is no concern for public safety at this time.

Few other details are available to share at this time. The public will be notified of any further significant developments or when the scene has been cleared.
