The public is being advised about a significant police presence is in the Cumming Street area, between May and McKnezie Streets, following reports of a possible shooting and an injured male. Thunder Bay Police Service officers were dispatched to the 200-block area of Cumming Street just after 5 p.m. today (Wednesday, July 12) for a weapons call in the area. An injured adult male was located and transported to the Thunder Bay Reginal Health Sciences Centre for further evaluation and treatment of his injuries. An investigation remains ongoing, and the public is asked to avoid this area until further notice. No other information is available at this time.
