Thunder Bay Police Service officers were dispatched to the 200-block area of Pearl Street just after 10:15 p.m. on Sunday, May 15 following a 911 call about a shooting incident that had just occurred.
A 41-year-old Thunder Bay man was located in the area with serious injuries. He died from his injuries and was pronounced dead at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.
Investigators with the Thunder Bay Police Service Major Crimes and Forensic Identification Units are now involved in the ongoing investigation.
As a result of the ongoing investigation the Thunder Bay Police Service has arrested:
- Jamie OSMAR (1977/11/03) of Thunder Bay for: First-Degree Murder, and Breach of Recognizance
Two male suspects remain outstanding.

Suspect 1 believed to be a White male, slim build, long dark unkempt hair, dark pants, light-coloured hoodie, black hat on backwards.
Suspect 2 believed to be male, slim build, light-coloured jacket, grey pants, white toque, light-coloured face mask
The suspects are considered to be armed and dangerous. If encountered do not approach. Call 9-1-1 immediately.
