Cst. Carson Bamford was on general patrol when he was dispatched to the scene of a water rescue at the Kaministiquia River Heritage Park. Shortly after he arrived he came to the conclusion that the only way to save a life would be to risk his own. Cst. Bamford talks about that afternoon in August during this episode of Our Call.
Our Call is a new video series, the goal of which is to give first- hand insight into the work of the Thunder Bay Police Service. This is the second episode of the series, which showcases some of the challenging and unusual calls our officers respond to.
