Police quickly located and arrested a Thunder Bay man who had smashed a drug store window during a theft early Monday morning.
Thunder Bay Police Service officers with the Primary Response Branch were dispatched to a Shoppers Drug Mart at 1186 Memorial Avenue at about 3:50 a.m. on Monday, March 27 following reports of a male smashing a window.
While en route, police learned a male suspect had smashed a store window with a concrete block, took a television and stereo, and fled on foot.
Officers located the suspect a short time later in the 800 block of Syndicate Avenue with the alleged stolen merchandise. He was taken into custody.
Jeffrey Carl MCNALLY, 35, of Thunder Bay, is charged with:
• Mischief Over $5,000
• Theft Under $5,000
• Resist Peace Officer
• Fail to Comply with Probation Order
He appeared in bail court on Monday, March 27 and was remanded into custody with a future appearance date.
