The Thunder Bay Police Service is requesting public assistance in locating a Thunder Bay man wanted on multiple charges of dangerous driving and flight from police.
The most recent police interaction with the male suspect occurred on Tuesday, Aug. 29 just after 2:30 p.m. At that time a member of the Thunder Bay Police Service observed a male driving a red GMC Sierra westbound in the 600-block of City Road.
The officer recognized the male as being a suspect at-large on outstanding warrants for dangerous driving and flight from police.
Police attempted to conduct a traffic stop, however, the male began to flee at a high-rate of speed. Due to public safety concerns, the pursuit was discontinued.
Due to the suspect’s repeated attempts to flee from police, and the belief his actions represent a risk to public safety, police are requesting public assistance in an effort to safety locate and arrest the accused.
Wanted is James Andrew MORROW, 43, of Thunder Bay. He is wanted on outstanding charges of:
• Flight from Peace Officer x 3
• Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle x 3
An image of the suspect is being distributed to the public and media in an attempt to locate the male.
The accused is described as a White male standing about 5’9” tall with a medium build. He has blond hair and blue eyes. His vehicle is described as an older model, red GMC pickup truck. During the most recent interaction with police, the vehicle sported an Ontario licence plate bearing BB48648. That plate number is not associated with the vehicle being operated.
