Police are continuing to investigate a shooting incident that occurred over the weekend.
Thunder Bay Police Service officers were dispatched to the area of Trillium Court around 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 24 for reports of an incident involving a weapon.
An injured adult male was located. The male was transported to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre by Superior North EMS for treatment of serious injuries.
The Emergency Task Unit was involved in the response, with assistance from the Ontario Provincial Police.
The Major Crimes Unit is involved in the ongoing investigation.
A visible police presence is expected to remain in the area on Monday.
