On Monday May 2, 2022 at approximately 11:30 p.m., police responded to a call for assistance in the area of 400 Hodder Avenue.
A 29-year-old man later identified as Adrian Anthony RICHARDSON was located with serious injuries. He died from injuries sustained during a shooting incident and was pronounced dead at the scene.
On Saturday, June 4, 2022, members of the Thunder Bay Police Service’s Major Crime, Emergency Task, and Intelligence Units located and arrested Telique RICKETTS, 22, of Brampton, Ont., at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.
RICKETTS is charged with First-Degree Murder and appeared in bail court on Saturday, June 4. He was remanded into custody with a future appearance date.
As a result of continued investigation, members of the Major Crimes Unit have obtained surveillance footage showing two males believed to be connected to this homicide investigation.

SUSPECT MALE #1 is described as standing about 5’8” tall with a thing or average build. He has curly black hair and appears to be between 17-and-21 years old.
SUSPECT MALE #2 is described as standing about 5’7” tall with an average build and dark brown hair.
The suspects could be armed and dangerous. If you see them do NOT approach, and call 9-1-1 from a place of safety.
