Police have arrested a local resident following a child pornography investigation.
Members of the Thunder Bay Police Service Cyber Crime Unit received information that a local internet user was suspected of sharing child sexual abuse material.
A search warrant was obtained and executed at a residence on the morning of Wednesday, December 4.
A suspect was located and arrested. An electronic device was seized.
Aidyn FUCILE-LADOUCEUR, 22, is charged with Possession of Child Pornography, Accessing Child Pornography, and Distributing Child Pornography.
The accused appeared in court on Wednesday and has been released with conditions and a future appearance date.
